Position Summary
The Dispatcher serves as the communication hub between our customers, technicians, and leadership team. This role is responsible for efficiently scheduling and dispatching service calls, monitoring technician routes, and ensuring our customers receive the exceptional service experience that Dallas Plumbing & Air Conditioning is known for.
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Availability: Must be available to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as business needs require.
Responsibilities
- Schedule and dispatch HVAC and Plumbing technicians to service calls efficiently and effectively.
- Communicate with customers regarding appointment confirmations, technician arrival times, and schedule updates.
- Prioritize incoming service requests based on urgency, location, and technician availability.
- Monitor technician schedules and routes throughout the day to maximize productivity and customer satisfaction.
- Coordinate with Customer Service Representatives, Sales Teams, and Field Managers to resolve scheduling conflicts and customer concerns.
- Maintain accurate job information and customer records within dispatching software.
- Assist with emergency and after-hours dispatching when needed.
- Follow company procedures and ensure all dispatching activities are documented accurately.
- Provide exceptional customer service and professional communication at all times.
Qualifications
- Previous dispatching, scheduling, customer service, or call center experience required.
- HVAC, Plumbing, Home Services, or ServiceTitan experience preferred.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to remain calm and professional in high-volume situations.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Comfortable using computers, scheduling software, and communication platforms.
- Dependable, detail-oriented, and team-focused.
